The Old Exchange is a modern and
light, high quality fully furnished conversion sleeping 2-12 people,
and is available for weekly bookings and short breaks. It has
been converted from the Old Telephone Exchange in Sway and comprises
of two apartments. The First Floor Apartment
The first floor apartment is reached via ‘u’ –shaped stairs from its own door on the ground level. This apartment has an open plan kitchen, fully equipped with: an electric oven and hob, and fridge with icebox, a washer drier, a dishwasher and a microwave. The lounge dining room has two comfortable leather settees and a double fold out bed. There is a television, DVD player and free-view box. A high-speed broadband connection is available. A short corridor leads to a twin bedroom and a double bedroom; there is a shower room with toilet and basin at the top of the stairs The Ground Floor Apartment
The ground floor apartment boasts an entrance hall with utility cupboard and a cloakroom with toilet and basin. On
entering the hall, to your right, there is a large and bright sitting
room / diner with comfortable seating, television, DVD player and
free-view box. A high-speed broadband connection is available. At
night, this versatile sitting room / diner converts into a double
bedroom by unfolding the 4ft6’’ continental wardrobe
bed. On entering the hall, to your left, there is a large and light
family room, which sleeps four, with twin beds and a set of two
3ft bunks. In this room there is an en-suite shower room with toilet
and basin.
The kitchen is bright and is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with icebox, a washer-drier and a microwave.
Both apartments sleep
up to 6 people, Location Sway is a quiet village four miles west of Lymington, on the edge of the New Forest, about 15 miles from both Southampton and Bournemouth. Sway station is on the Bournemouth-Southampton mail line, with an hourly trains direct to London Waterloo. There is also a limited bus service. The town of Lymington with its Saturday market and the Isle of Wight ferry is only a short drive away as are the beaches of Hordle, Barton, and Bournemouth. Just follow the link below
