The front entrance of Spinners Gardens near Lymington in the New Forest

Spinners is a peaceful garden overlooking Lymington River valley. Its two acres are a paradise to explore, much of the garden in light woodland, with good collections of hydrangeas, acers, hostas, rodgersias and ferns. There is something for everyone to discover and enjoy from our:

          • Less common and rare trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants.
          • Huge range of unusual shade bulbs, especially Trilliums and Erythroniums.
          • Bog garden and moisture loving plants featured in several areas.

The Royal Horticultural Society Garden Finder writes, what a garden! Spinners is a plantsman's paradise.

Subject of 4 TV programmes and many press articles.

Spinners Nursery

Open all the year round except Sundays

Here is as wide a selection of less common and rare hardy plants as any where in the country (we sold 100 different varieties of Magnolia last year!).

Expert advice if wanted, from those who have made and maintain the garden.

A well-known American nurseryman writes I have seen in this country (USA) only one nursery (Western Hill, California) which carries as wide a stock as you.

Just follow the brown signs off the A337 between Lymington and Brockenhurst to discover our gardens for yourself.
