New Milton and Barton on Sea
On the edge of New Milton
is Barton-on-sea with beautiful views across to the Isle of Wight and
lovely walks along the cliff top. Barton also has a small selection
of restaurants, cafes and shops and home to Barton-on-Sea Golf Club
situated right on the cliff top
New Milton is situated between the New Forest and the Coast. It is a
busy little town with something for everyone. A wide selection of shops,
restaurants and public houses. New Milton has its own recreation centre
and Arts centre. Although called New Milton it can be traced back to
the Doomsday Book.
New
Milton is also the home of the Sammy Miller Museum one of the largest
motorbikes displays in the world.
Close to New Milton is the villages of Bashley home to the Burley Villa
Riding Stables and Bashley Caravan park
From New Milton it only takes about 5 minutes to reach the beautiful New Forest where the New Forest Ponies have the right away over Forest roads. There are many attractions to visit all within easy reach and Bournemouth with its sandy beaches, theatres and cinemas only 10miles away.
