The fully functioning pottery has a show room of David Rogers work and he would be delighted to see you there. You can always buy from the pottery and there is usually plenty of stock. Please do drop in if you are in the area, or make an appointment to visit, as it is only open when Dave is in!

The "Original" Room

Our "Original" room has a private bathroom and sitting/ dining room area, all of which is separate to the rest of the house. There is even a good sized patio for guest's use, which is perfect for breakfast on a sunny day.

  • The bedroom has a king sized bed, and there is also an option to have a single bed.
  • The bathroom has a good shower, bath and hot towel rail!
  • Cots and high chairs are available on request, as is a hairdryer.
  • There is a television and tea and coffee making facilities in the sitting/ dining room area.

We serve a delicious full English breakfast, and also offer freshly baked and locally made croissants for those who prefer something lighter, as well as a selection of cereals and fruit juices, tea and coffee. All of this is served on tableware made in the pottery! There is also the option to have a paper delivered on Sundays.

The "Upstairs" Room

This room is totally self contained room, up a spiral staircase so only for the able bodied.

  • Modern Double Bedroom
  • The en suite has a fantastic sunflowerhead shower, a David Rogers pottery hand basin and a hot towel rail!
  • Breakfast in bed! - All your milk, juice, bread, butter and jams are delivered to your room the evening before in a cool box. The following morning we deliver your piping hot cooked breakfasts to the door at a pre arranged time.
  • The room is also kitted out with toaster, kettle and cereals.

Mockbeggars Bed and Breakfast

  • Mockbeggars is our family home and children are welcome to come and stay too.
  • Prices from just £70 per night per room.
  • Sorry, no pets!
  • Check- in is from 4pm to 7 and check-out is by11am.
  • The B&B is a no smoking establishment.

Our location

Milford on Sea - has a huge amount to offer as we are within walking distance to the village centre and the local beaches, whilst Lymington and the New Forest are a short drive away. On the road to Milford from Lymington take a right hand turn after the school into Manor Road, follow the road around into Barnes Lane and continue on until you pass the Baptist Church on your right. Take the 3rd right after this, Vinegar Hill. We are at the bottom on the left.
