New Forest Commoners Working Farm offer you a place to stay away from it all. Bring your own tent, basic facilities available and an optional Farmhouse breakfast if you dont want to cook your own. We are a working Farm keeping beef cattle, sheep and poultry. The farm opens directly on to the 900 year old Royal Hunting Forest now known as the New Forest National Park where you can walk or bring your bicycle, as it is on one of the official cycle routes in the New Forest.
Dogs accepted but must be kept very strictly under control being a working live stock farm
Acres Down Farm is on the western side of the village of Minstead 2 1/2 miles from Lyndhurst, and has a village shop, a pub and Medieval Church.
We
charge £8.50 for a small tent £11.00 for a 4 man tent or
over.

Our accommodation is in the modern farmhouse where besides bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, there is a television lounge for your use in the evening. We provide a full English Breakfast.

There are plenty of very pleasant eating houses and pubs through the whole price range within easy reach and we will be able to recommend these to you. There are also many attractions and places to visit in and around the New Forest for you to explore.
