Meet
the majestic heavy horses, learn their story,
and face new challenges as you Enjoy free wagon
rides, and learn to drive a vintage
tractor.
 
Dorset
Heavy Horse centre offers interesting daily shows
and demonstrations, where you can discover the
history of the horses. You are encouraged to have
a go at feeding and grooming the horses, shetland
ponies, donkeys, kune kune pigs, pygmy goats,
ducks.
There is a fantastic adventure play area, straw
play barn, covered sand pit, or for the more discerning
lucky horse shoe games.
The
energetic can enjoy the go-carts and pedal tractors,
or bounce
away the afternoon on a trampoline. You will find
a good value cafeteria
and pleasant picnic area, with the playground
in sight, ideal for grandparents and parents to
relax in.
Or
you can wonder around the vintage vehicles and
remember a bygone era, have a go at driving a
vintage tractor, snuggle a bunny rabbit or even
take the reins of a horse and cart.
Birthday
parties and groups are catered for, we have plenty
of parking - so please come and discover our unique
qualities, and have a great day out, whatever
